I fooled some people into thinking I was a pro

I'm teaching a couple poetry workshops at a high school festival next week. The dilemma is, how to provide individual feedback on everyone's pre-submitted manuscript in 50 minutes while still engaging everyone and giving everyone 50 minutes of learning. I suspect I will rely heavily on printing some of my favorite examples and talking about them a lot, and then sending each kid home with written feedback and a pat on the head and a list of contemporary poets they might enjoy reading.

p.s. I'm being paid for this. Paid to stand there and pretend that there's a "best way to write" that can be taught easily in a classroom setting. Ahaha.
