Hey, happy solstice. I’m celebrating the gradual return of sunlight by moving across the hall into an apartment that, for just $10 more per month and the stupid $20 for moving my wireless internet, has south-facing windows (instead of north) and a little second-story porch. I guess this is me, burrowing in, fighting the urge to sell all my possessions on eBay.
If you’re in Madison, you should come visit and help me move a desk. It will be super fast and then we can go to Devil’s Lake and gape at the stark majesty of the black trees against the lonely, loveless snow. Or, you know, get a beer.

When did you want to do that?
Well, my landlord wants me to accomplish everything by the end of the year, so he can advertise for my apartment. I'm actually getting started on it all tonight. BUT he's also said he can help me move some things. Which is good, because I'm kind of all over the place until after the New Year, and coordinating with Madisonians isn't going to be easy. :/
