Who wants to stay inside and do science projects?

Happy National Poetry Month, all. My non-writing goals include posting something awesome here every day, but not otherwise wasting a lot of time rehashing my life on the internet. I have a freezer full of curry, and coffee and toilet paper to last for a year. If I manage to see my friends before May, it will only be as a reward for accomplishing some hardcore awesome writing. Or the utter breakdown of my willpower.

Here is something awesome:

If you are made for flight, intended for it,
you had better find a pursuer, fast.

- Dan Chiasson, "Titian vs. Roadrunner," via the New Yorker.

From the "start a poem with a truism or platitude" school of poetic "moves." Still good.
