I learned the Gulf of Mexico oil spill is red, "rust-colored." It's like the ocean floor woke up one morning and decided to be a portent or a plague. Also, what the hell kind of name is "Deepwater Horizon"? It sounds like a spaceship. It definitely sounds like a rig that would explode in a Ben Affleck movie. I hope there's a heart-warming speech at the end.
Don't worry, though, it's not half as bad as Exxon-Valdez, if all you look at is millions of gallons of crude oil.
