1. Correction: In a Sept. blog post, the draining of Lake Delton was mischaracterized. The lake did not lift its skirts and bust through the dam. It found a way around on a road and ran pell-mell in a slightly different awayward direction.
2. My cup with the caffeine molecule on it does not actually keep coffee very warm. Nor does it turn water into caffeinated water.
3. I recently read this poem by Kim Addonizio aloud at a Halloween-themed event. Everyone laughed at "death / in his brown uniform / is cruising his panel truck / full of packages through your neighborhood." But then the next line caught them off guard. Boogity boogity boo.
